Overview

Discovered by Rini Lakdawalla, this Cursed Technique revolves around butterflies and death, allowing the user to mark an opponent so they take double damage from all sources. If a marked target dies, they are transformed into a fragile statue upon death. When shattered by an ally, the statue heals the user—but if an opponent breaks it instead, it releases a burst that damages them.

The user marks their opponent with black butterflies and briefly obscuring their vision with a skull. While marked, opponents will take twice as much damage.

Technique EVO: 0 Input: R (on statue)

If an opponent is knocked with an active mark, or marked while knocked, they will be automatically executed and turned into a statue. The statue will remain in place until broken in the exact spot and map the opponent was executed. When the user breaks a statue, they will receive health back. When another opponent breaks a statue, it will detonate, knocking them back and dealing damage.
