The Balance

“Can you see them? The scales of battle, tipping?”

Overview

Discovered by Data Pascal, The Balance is a Cursed Technique that allows the user to either cleave an opponent with a powerful strike or grant themselves or an ally a defensive buff. However, excessive use of the cleave ability begins to reflect damage back onto the user. If pushed too far, they risk executing themselves, making it crucial to carefully balance offense and defense.

Scale

Technique EVO: 0 Input: Passive

In order to maintain “Balance” and not be consumed by Cleave or Encasing Blue drawbacks, the user use them alternatively, keeping the black bar as close to the middle as possible.

Cleave

Technique EVO: 0 Input: Hold R

The user performs a series of slashes on their opponent that deal damage and sever limbs. Using Cleave will move the user’s Scale towards red.

If Cleave is used too much and reaches too far into the red bar, the user will begin to take burn damage and trigger Cleave on themselves, dealing heavy damage and burning out their Technique Bar.
