  • Grade Exams are an event that occur every hour for 30 minutes where 8 players fight in a series of one on one matches. These matches are based off level brackets, in increments of 50. The remaining two players will move up one grade.
  • The cooldown for failing is 30 minutes, while the cooldown for winning is one hour. If a player loses multiple exams in a row, they may be demoted from their current grade.
  • Grade 4 – Obtained at level 25 automatically.
  • Grade 4 – Obtained at level 25 automatically.
  • Grade 3 – Level 50–100 and making it to the final round in a Grade Exam.
  • Semi-Grade 2 – Level 50–100 and making it to the final round in a Grade Exam.

  • Time is the primary form of progression currency within Cursed Gear. During expeditions, players will collect time through various means, be it completing missions or defeating invaders. Upon extraction, all gathered time will be converted to stored time, which can then be used to upgrade attributes.
  • Every 25 levels, players will be rewarded with a stat-pack. This allows them to increase a chosen attribute by 25 points without directly increasing their level. At level 150, a player will have 300 points: 150 from levels, and 150 from stat-packs.

  • Players can create their own PMC after reaching Grade 4 by pressing the dragonfly icon at the top of their screen, next to the training icon. This will prompt them to choose a name and create the PMC, making them the leader by default and setting their spawn to their new base.
