- Time is the primary form of progression currency within Cursed Gear. During expeditions, players will collect time through various means, be it completing missions or defeating invaders. Upon extraction, all gathered time will be converted to stored time, which can then be used to upgrade attributes.
- Time functions as a manual experience system, as attributes are tracked by a grading system based on invested levels. Time investment is also exponential in that the more time one invests into an attribute at once, the more experience they will gain: investing 500 time will yield more experience than investing 100 on five separate occasions.

- Auto-Docs are a fundamental part of progression, allowing players to modify their Cybernetics, augments, and weapons. It also provides an overview of the player’s current attribute spread, along with their character information.
- The left section displays the player’s name, level, Gear, and playtime on that slot. Players can see what their clan does by hovering over their name.
- Under the modules section, players can see their equipped Cybernetics and Gear skills. If for whatever reason a player would like to disable a Cybernetic or skill, they can click on it. Clicking again will restore its function.
- The right section displays the player’s weapons, Cybernetics, and further character information. In the weapons card, players can swap between weapon slots and view the durability and parts of their current weapon, as well as the buffs and debuffs those parts may provide.
Efficiency
“How little energy you spend to do the same actions.” Increases your stamina reserves. Slightly increases the damage of your techniques.
