Overview

  • Discovered by Data Pascal, The Balance is a Cursed Technique that allows the user to either cleave an opponent with a powerful strike or grant themselves or an ally a defensive buff. However, excessive use of the cleave ability begins to reflect damage back onto the user. If pushed too far, they risk executing themselves, making it crucial to carefully balance offense and defense.

Technique EVO

  • Input: Passive
  • In order to maintain “Balance” and not be consumed by Cleave or Encasing Blue drawbacks, the user use them alternatively, keeping the black bar as close to the middle as possible.
  • Cleave
  • Technique EVO: 0
  • Input: Hold R
  • The user performs a series of slashes on their opponent that deal damage and sever limbs. Using Cleave will move the user’s Scale towards red.
  • If Cleave is used too much and reaches too far into the red bar, the user will begin to take burn damage and trigger Cleave on themselves, dealing heavy damage and burning out their Technique Bar.
  • Encasing Blue

Encasing Blue

  • Technique EVO: 0
  • The user surrounds themselves in a blue aura, granting damage reduction and passive health regeneration. Encasing Blue will passively move the user’s Scale towards blue.
  • If Encasing Blue is used too much and reaches too far into the blue bar, the user will be frozen in place, as well as burning out their Technique Bar.
